Utilising plant biodiversity to identify bioactives

June 23, 2014

Prof Paul Fraser, project coordinator, presented the EU-FP7 DISCO project at the BBSRC-network for industrial biotechnology and bioenergy (NIBB) for high value chemical from plants (HVCfP) in York (UK) on 18th June 2014. “This illustrated the EUs commitment to the development of renewable sources for valuable chemicals and materials and the role the DISCO consortium is playing in this objective" says Paul Fraser.

High Value Chemicals from Plants (HVCfP) is one of thirteen Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) funded Networks in Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy (NIBB) designed to boost interaction between academia and industry.
