DISCO partners Carmen Socaciu and Paul Fraser at the 8th Congress of Pigments in Food (PIF)

While Prof. Carmen Socaciu from Proplanta chairs the 8th Congress of Pigments in Food, held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania from 28 June to 1 July 2016, Prof Paul Fraser from Royal Holloway University of London (RHUL) presents DISCO results and an overview of DISCO activities during the sessions. His first talk is scheduled for Wednesday and is titled “Genetic intervention approaches to the enhancement of carotenoid and flavonoids in tomato fruit”.

On Friday, a round table discussion is dedicated to successful EU projects working in the field of food and biotechnology. As the coordinator, Paul Fraser will present the DISCO project  together with Antonio Meléndez-Martínez and Gerhard Sandmann presenting EUROCAROTEN and PROCAR respectively.
